In East Charlotte, artist and author KJ Green is sharing his “Jerry Drop” comic book series at local Little Free Libraries.
The Little Free Library program is a series of small free “libraries” that anyone can borrow from or contribute to. These Little Libraries can be found in many Charlotte neighborhoods. One such library sits in the driveway of Safe Hands Learning Center, which is located off of Sharon Amity on Vernedale Rd, behind old Eastland Mall property.
The newest addition to this little library, titled “Jerry Drop in: Quarantined,” is the latest edition of a comic book series by creator KJ Green, a middle school student from East Charlotte. Established in 2016, the “Jerry Drop” series uniquely chronicles the adventures of a group of water droplet characters. The series was inspired by an assignment KJ received in school.
KJ intends to share more of his books with the East Charlotte community by adding his comics to more little libraries for readers to discover. To be the first to know about Jerry Drop updates, email the author here: email@example.com.
